When creating a brand new email, the first step is to enter information on the Email Details step. The Email Details panel contains these details, associated with the email you are working on. Here you can review, add to or edit these details. All details in this panel are automatically saved as you type.
Maximum characters: 50 This is where you enter your campaign name. The name is for your reference only, recipients won’t see it, so just make sure it’s relevant and memorable, and contains words useful if you were to look for it using the Search option in the Navigation panel.
Maximum characters: 128 The subject line is the first thing a recipient sees when your email arrives in their inbox. It can make or break your campaign, so make it a good one!
The subject line is how you identify campaigns in the Track tab.
Maximum characters: 128 This can be any name (e.g. John) or your company name if appropriate. Along with the subject line, this information will be visible to recipients when your email arrives in their inbox.
From Email Address
Maximum characters: 128 This can be any email address, although we would suggest making it a real one as some people do respond directly using the reply button. Some spam filters don’t like a non-existent ‘from’ address.
Google Analytics Campaign Name
Maximum characters: 255 If you have linked your account with Google Analytics, give your campaign a unique identifier to find it in your Google Analytics reports, otherwise you can leave this field blank.
